Our initial conversations are an opportunity to explore your project and determine if I’m the right fit for your needs. I want to understand your intentions for the piece and why existing options have not met your expectations. From there, I will create preliminary renderings or sketches to convey my vision for the design. If we decide to move forward, a non-refundable design fee will be requested, which will be applied toward the final cost.

Once the design is finalized, a 60% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in the build queue. This deposit covers materials, the considerable time involved in designing joinery and planning construction logistics, and represents your investment in the process.

I will contact you a few weeks before beginning the build to request the remaining balance. Generally, design adjustments can still be made prior to milling. While we collaborate closely during the design phase, some details may evolve during construction, reflecting my expertise and aesthetic judgment. By commissioning me, you place trust in my vision and craftsmanship.

I offer free delivery within an 80-mile radius of Fairfax, VA, with additional delivery options available beyond this range for a fee. White glove delivery and freight shipping are also available throughout the mainland U.S.
